Makerspace classes meet one day a week and students take part in learning through hands-on projects where students are able to experiment and create new solutions to open-ended prompts. Makerspace is a room that has been repurposed for project-based learning. Inside we have open workbenches and tables with room for a lot of experimentation as well as student interaction with new technology such as 3D printers, Electronics, Makey Makey, Raspberry Pi and much more! Cabinets are filled with fasteners, cardboard, legos and other small building materials for students to use to build their projects. Students learn that creativity is within all of us!
