Lauren Young, Principal
Mrs. Young is the Principal of Nissitissit Middle School. She is proud to share that she has been an educator in North Middlesex Regional School District for her entire career. She started out as a School Counselor at NMS and then served as the Assistant Principal for ten years. The middle school years are a critical time in an adolescent’s development and Mrs. Young is passionate about helping adolescent students navigate this exciting and sometimes challenging world.
Mrs. Young holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Educational Leadership from Fitchburg State University, a Master of Education in Counseling from Rivier University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
Mrs. Young resides with her husband and two sons. She enjoys cheering on her boys at their sporting events, teaching and taking group exercise classes, and reading a good book.
Evan Worth, Assistant Principal
Mr. Worth grew up in Vermont and attended Endicott College for his undergraduate degree in Computer Science. Upon graduation, he worked in Boston as a Systems Analyst for Emmanuel College while earning his Masters of Arts in Teaching.
Mr. Worth was our Technology Teacher from 2012-2020 where he has built a Makerspace for students as well as introduced them to many different technologies such as coding and 3D Printing. Mr. Worth has also worked to build our school’s online presence, setting up the school blog and Facebook Page to help connect with our community.
Outside of school, Mr. Worth keeps busy reading very large history books, crafting championship fantasy football teams, going for hikes with his family and growing a vegetable garden.
